Maui Lu is an older moderate hotel with expansive grounds and over eleven hundred palm trees. This low-rise property is located across the street from the beach in the Kihei area on Maui. The amenities include a pool, 2 tennis courts, central laundry facilities, activity desk, complimentary coffee in the lobby, BBQ and volleyball.

The hotel rooms (which range from gardenview to oceanfront) all have air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee-maker, shower & bathtub and cable TV.

Maui Lu has a feeling of Hawaiiana and is a good inexpensive hotel for travelers wanting comfortable accommodations at a reasonable cost. All rooms are non-smoking. This is a budget property for travelers looking for inexpensive Kihei accommodations. Beginning on May 27, 2008 through June 27, 2008, the property will be upgrading the walkways and railings of the Vancouver Building. Beginning on June 24, 2008 through September 7, 2008, the property will be replacing the roof of the Haleakala Building as well as upgrading the bridges, walkways and railings of the building. Work will only be done Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-4:00PM. Guests will not be assigned rooms in the buildings where work is being performed. The ocean view and ocean front categories are located ocean side and therefore will not be affected. The General Manager and staff will do everything possible to minimize any guest inconvenience.
